P15 WSB MERITO UNIVERSITY IN WROCLAW

WSB Merito University in Wroclaw (UWSB), operating since 1998, is the largest non-public university in Lower Silesia (entered in the register under No. 146), educating more than 21,000 students, including about 2,000 foreign students at 2 faculties - WFiZ in Wroclaw and WE in Opole (as of 10.01.2025, source: data from the Head of the Database Management Department). UWSB is one of the most frequently selected non-public universities in Poland by foreign candidates for bachelor's and master's degree programs. According to CSO data, 9519 foreign students studied in Lower Silesia in the academic year 2023/2024. Nearly 1,300 of them studied at WFiZ.

At present, the university employs more than 668 people (317F, 351M) of teaching staff, of which about 195 are full-time employees, 335 are employed on the basis of contractual agreements, and 138 are self-employed. The administrative staff numbers 210 people.
